The Medical Biofeedback Association and Credentialing Board (MBACB) was formed to properly train the medical community in the medical model for supervising qualified biofeedback technicians. Specifically, MBACB offers membership and supervision training and assistance to licensed practitioners holding one or more of the following degrees:  DC, DDS, DO, DVM, HMD, HMO, HomD, LAcc, LCSW, LSW, MD, ND, NMD, OD, OMD, PhD, PsyD, and equivalent licenses or degrees.

Journal of Medical Biofeedback

The official peer-reviewed journal of MBACB is the Journal of Medical Biofeedback. Members receive a subscription to the Journal as part of their annual dues. Subscriptions to the Journal of Medical Biofeedback are available to the public for an annual subscription fee of $150 US.

The Journal of Medical Biofeedback has merged with the International Medical Journal for Natural Therapies.  Since the merger took place before the inaugural issue of the JMB was ready for publication, the IMJNT will replace the JMB and all existing subscribers to the JMB will receive issues of the IMJNT instead.  Visit our Journal page to learn more.

Biofeedback Directory

MBACB maintains the Biofeedback Directory as a public directory of biofeedback providers in North America. MBACB members receive a professional listing and 50 word advertisement as part of their annual dues. You may also obtain a free listing for your properly credentialed employees and contracted laborers. [Please note: the Directory is still being built.]

Biofeedback Malpractice Insurance

This professional and general liability insurance package is only available to licensed professionals exclusively practicing biofeedback supported by other natural therapies interventions. The coverage is up to $10 Million for professional liability and $3 Million for general liability.

Dues

Professional Charter Member dues are $295 US annually. Dues for Charter Membership including the optional professional liability insurance benefit package are $495 US annually. This insurance package is only available to licensed professionals exclusively practicing biofeedback supported by other natural therapies interventions. Regular dues will be $325 US annually. Charter members will always enjoy a $40 annual discount.
